Gangadhar returns the coin to Manu without recognising her. Manu vows to end the British rule in India and promises that Jhansi will be her motherland. A villager informs Manu that many times he has seen a woman dressed in black leaving the palace at night. Manu follows the woman and is shocked to know that the wall is actually a door that opens into Frasers premises. Manu is unable to enter as a guard stops her.
