Jon and Ponch try to help their fellow officer Andy, who is deadly sick. Andy want's to die as hero during duty and often does silly, dangerous things. Jon and Ponch are sent by the Sarge to look in on Andy. Andy's son is very sad and disappointed that he finds no way to talk seriously with his dad. A bad accident makes Andy's life end but he can die as a hero. All in all a very sad episode with a bit hope at the end.
