It is soon discovered that he had been drinking on the night of his murder but the pub landlord and his girlfriend Louisa claim that CCTV cameras at the pub are broken. When the police search Liam's home they discover his two young children living there in complete squalor. The team soon find out that Louisa and Liam had been having an affair.
