She wanders off into multiple fantasy sequences in which Garfield is a daring adventure hero in the jungle, the wild west, and in a 1930s mystery. Garfield explains he can't be all these fantasy things she wants him to be, and she shouldn't expect him to because he doesn't expect her to be anything other than what she is.
