Meanwhile, Kazuki, Tokiko, Gouta, and Papillon arrive at the school and meet a mysterious figure who introduces herself as Victoria and leads them to her brain in a vat mother, Alexandria, the creator of the black kakugane. Alexandria reveals her creation, a white kakugane, and explains it is able to negate the effects of the black kakugane. However, with only one in existence, Kazuki must decide whether to use it on himself or Victor.
